Phuket Golf Courses

Blue Canyon Country Club Developed in 1991 after a design by Yoshikazu Kato, the Blue Canyon has been recognized as a world championship golf course; one of the best in Asia. This status was enhanced when the venue hosted the 1994 Johnnie Walker Classic. The 36-hole course is challenging and one can only begin to meet its demands after playing it a few times. With a full list of service facilities this is the gem of golfing for the Andaman area.

Loch Palm Golf Club Designed by Dr. Sukitti Klangvisai, this course has one singular feature: a huge lagoon or lake, which is the single biggest body of water of any of Phuket's golf courses. The 18-hole course has marked elevation changes with many dog-leg holes requiring a large amount of accuracy.

Phuket Country Club Definitely not for the beginner, Phuket Country Club reflects its previous incarnation as a tin mine which left the area with a topography perfect for the golfer with a low handicap. However, with five tee-off boxes at each hole players can ease up a bit. Designed in 1979 by Dr. Sukitti Klangvisai, the 18-hole course lies just a few minutes from Phuket Town.

Laguna Phuket The Andaman Sea provides ample cooling breezes on this course. Adjacent to the Laguna Hotel Complex, the greens and fairways have been fashioned out of sand dunes and coconut plantations. As to be expected, the clubhouse has the same high standards as its neighbouring hotels. First opened in 1993 and designed by Max Wexler, the Laguna Golf Club, with its 18 holes, is a topological delight.

Mission Hills Golf Resort Phuket's newest golfing resort is designed by the world class designer, Nicklaus Design. Measuring 5,127 yards from the front tees and 6,806 yards from the back tees, the course is fulfilled with the great grass selection, Paspalum Sea Isle 1 for the fairways and Paspalum Sea Isle 2000 for greens.
